Description
Very rare original recording by Decca wide band grooved first pressing of SXL 2068 in the original scalloped blue black flip back sleeve.
The record has been play tested from start to finish on both sides and I have graded it as very good +. The record plays through on both sides without any sticks or ticks. The sound quality is strong, vibrant and clear throughout. There is occasional low level background noise.
The labels are nice and clean with a few minor spindle marks. The record visually is in excellent condition with a few minor surface marks.
The sleeve has been graded in very good plus condition. All the flip backs are intact and firmly glued down. There are no splits. The laminate on the back is excellent and nice and clean. Likewise the front except where there is a bubble in the laminate. These early Decca sleeves are prone to this.
Overall a very good copy of this scarce Decca first pressing. This has been honestly graded based on listening to the record from start to finish. It may benefit from a professional clean.
