WBg 1st Uk Stereo Edition
This is the UK Stereo Decca press of Puccinis Turandot. It comes complete with original box, original inners, libretto and all records have "Original Recording by' in the 9 - 12 position.
The records are in Excellent plus condition. The vinyls have a sensational high gloss. On playing the sound is warm, crisp and clear. The Decca labels are completely clean. The black is bold, the silver text is sharp. There is only very slight spindle wear. 2 of the records have original ' Sample record (not for sale) stickers on them. But what makes this set extra rare is the miss cut groove on record 1, the groove was cut about 1cm from the edge of the label, rather than usual 4-5 cms as normal.
The original box is in Very Good condition. The colours are bold and bright and the cover has a bright shine. The corners have been taped up though.
