Description

Available for auction is a collectable, audiophile release from the Decca (UK) SXL series: 2078, 2079, and 2080 featuring performance of Puccini's "Turandot" with the chorus and orchestra of the Accademia di Santa Cecila, Rome, conducted by Alberto Erede. Quite likely the most outstanding and notable performance of the opera pressed in vinyl. Recorded in 1958, this stereo edition features the following vocal soloists:

Box condition: EX-, minor wear, box structure strong
Booklet condition: EX, minor wear, creasing (photographed separately, but similar appearance to box cover)
Sleeve condition: EX-, minor wear, discoloration, no splitting
Vinyl condition: NM- (visual) no marks, no spindle marks, except sides 1 & 3 (EX+) with very light handling marks and few spindle marks
Notes: Wide-band "grooved" label, ED1, with "original recording by" at the 10-o'clock position
