Description
The first disc of this 2LP set (sides 1 & 4) has printed on the centre label at 11 0'clock: "MADE IN ENGLAND BY". The 2nd disc (sides 2 & 3) has printed in the same position: "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY". In other words, one disc is ED1 and the other is ED2. This may have been a labelling error in the factory. The matrix numbers are: ZAL-4221/4-1E and ZAL-4222/3-1E respectively.
Each disc is housed in a period Decca-printed FFSS poly-lined paper sleeve.
The jacket is gatefold, complete with stapled 8-page illustrated booklet in English.
The album will be housed in a protective PVC wallet and posted in a commercial Defenda LP mailer made of corrugated cardboard.
Condition of Discs I have machine-cleaned the discs using the Spin-Clean Mk II utilising de-ionised water. There are faint signs of surface wear and spindle wear and on side 4, light surface scuffs and marks (see last photo). I have listened to extracts and the sound is beautiful, with occasional light crackle in places, but no major distractions. I have conservatively graded the discs overall as VG (Record Collector).
Condition of Jacket The jacket has clear shelf/handling/ring wear, but no tears or writing. The booklet is securely attached and in good order. Graded VG+
