These records I am putting up for sale are from the family archive collection collected from the 1950’s, they consist of Classical Records, Folk, Rock and Jazz Records.

Decca SXL 2101-3, George Solti, Das Rheingold

Condition:  I have graded these records as near mint, the labels are excellent it looks like the records have had very little play.  I have visually inspected and part play tested these records on a good quality record deck; the audio sound quality is excellent to my untrained ear, with no clicks/tics on any of the records only the background static from the records. The records come in a hinged box in excellent condition, with an insert also in excellent condition  

My grading of these records is near mint; the records have excellent sound quality and the ffss sleeves and labels are near mint.  The vinyl is very shiny with no spindle wear on the records.

The Record Grading

MINT:  The record itself is in brand new condition, I only grade sealed records in mint condition. The cover and any extra items are also unused in As NEW condition...

NEAR MINT:  A nearly perfect record, with only the slightest cosmetic flaw – no audible defect, Normal wear and tear ont he cover or extra items, without any major defects.

EXCELLENT:  The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.  The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality,despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional scratch.  Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.
