The grading is visual. But I've test played this LP on request and overall it plays very well. Let me get into some more detail:
I didn't notice any real detoriation in sound, of course there is some light background static (a good clean might for sure help) but overal the playback is still nice in my opinion. Occasionally a light tic (that's what I mean with background static, could just be a little dirt giving response). The silent parts are still nice. The louder parts are very dynamic and bright). 
Overal: not a flawless LP (therefor NM/EX) but a pretty good WBG copy for sure. Typical great Decca stereo dynamics.
