Cast: Renata Tebaldi, Giulietta Simionato, Carlo Bergonzi, Cornell Macneil, Arnold van Mill, Fernando Corena, Piero de Palma and Eugenia Ratti. The Singverein der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde (chorus master: Reinhold Schmidt) and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Herbert von Karajan.
