Description

Beethoven: piano concertos nos. 1 & 2. Wilhelm Backhaus plays piano. Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt. Superb performance !!!

Label: Decca SXL 2178. 1E/1E stampers. "Original recording" at 10 o'clock, wideband grooved label. First edition (ED1). The vinyl of this early (1959) UK stereo LP is ex (three small harmless lines only). Comes in original Decca FFSS sleeve. VERY RARE !!!
