Description

THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION OF THIS RELEASE The later editions came in a Box, This is the Wallet a Red Plastic Sleeve  and includes the Libretto or booklet. Recorded in England on DECCA SXL 2215/7 FFSS BLACK AND SILVER LABELS. Disc #1 matrix is blank on side One, but is 2E on side 2. All the other four matrix numbers are stamped 1E. Vinyl is in excellent condition, only an occasional minor visual or audible flaw. This is the complete Magic Flute Opera by Mozart performed by the Vienna State Orchestra conducted by Karl Bohm.

The Cast includes: Hilde Gueden soprano,Wilma Lipp,Emmy loose Leopold Simoneau,Walter Berry,Kurt Boehme, and the Bienna State Opera Chorus.Hear samples from the first 60 seconds of each of the six sides:
