On 15-May-21 at 18:32:46 BST, seller added the following information:A full play grade has now been carried out on an audiophile turntable / moving magnet cartridge.
There are mild continuous crackles and occasional pops (as expected for a record which is 63 years old!!).
However, the excitement of the playing is STUNNING!!!! The 3D stereo is amazing! Why can't CD's sound like this!!!!
In fact - although there appears too be surface scratches (as seen on the photos) THESE DO NOT SEEM TO AFFECT PLAY.
I am conscious that this is a rare record so I am am inclined to downgrade the record condition to Very Good Plus. Description: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. This is a very conservative grade.
