Description

Beethoven: piano sonatas nos. 9 (op.14 no.1), 11 (op.22) & 20 (op.49 no.2). Wilhelm Backhaus plays piano solo. Superb performance !!!

Label: Decca SXL 6358. Wideband grooved "made in England" label = first edition (ED1) for this release. The vinyl of this UK stereo LP is excellent (three small harmless hairlines, some light background crackling and an incidental soft pop only). RARE !!!
