For your listening pleasure this week, we have a single owner collection of vintage stereo Violin & cello rarities. In the list of 60 that will follow, there are a dozen I had never seen in 30 years of collecting and selling.
UK Decca SXL 6773 Kyung Wha Chung with Previn & the LSO in the Prokofiev Violin Concertos 1&2. 1W1W stampers, the scarcest of her concerto recordings, interestingly available in two portrait sleeves, with these stampers suggesting this is the 1st type.
A fantastic pair of accounts of these sublime works, perhaps my favourite reading of the 2 violin concerti. I have played my own copy many times over the years.

This is one of some very exciting classical rarities in my list this week, strong on Decca SXL's & HMV stereo, TAS Listed Audiophile and a great Chamber Music selection. They are all well worth a look and a bid, same low start no reserve on everything regardless of value.
