Decca stereo SXL 2117-20 wb+g Ed.1 – MOZART: DON GIOVANNI – KRIPS VPO
1958 Decca stereo recording on wide-band and grooved label Ed.1, 4-LPs catalogue number SXL 2117-20. N.B. There is no box; the 4-discs are in original FFSS inners plus the original illustrated libretto. Mozart’s Don Giovanni with Josef Krips conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra – Soloists: Suzanne Danco, Lisa della Casa, Cesare Siepi, Fernando Corena, etc.
7-sides have no visible marks: we have not played them. Side 6 has a light mark which produces 3 ticks. The booklet is rather worn and stained with tiny tears on front cover.
