Thanks for coming to my auctions. I have collected for many years and have many great records to sell. I guarantee my ratings. Ebay's DSR ratings are very confusing and many of my friends are no longer on here because they were snuffed out accidentally from nice people leaving bad ratings. Ultra rare northern soul single from the mid 60s. This one I've heard a lot and this has to be the best one in a long time! The problem was that this single was pressed to loud! If a needle ever touched these back in the 60's they were often damaged by their own volume! I archived this one with a solution of silicone and distilled water, and tracked it at 3.25 grams, folded mono, no filtration. I also played it at 33 RPM and sped it up with the computer. This doesn't lower the volume of the single (as someone asked me) or hurt the single, quite the contrary, it allows for full tracking of the HOT grooves without distortion. The simple truth is that records were made back then that couldn't be properly played on the technology of the time. The Beatles-Paperback Writer on the stereo version of Yesterday and today often caused skips from the bass drum in the left channel, when it was released, and the visual of driving on a zig-zag road that is very bumpy is also a good analogy. Compare this audio with any that are on youtube and you will hear much more clarity. The result is by my ears the best version archived thus far. It is the second track in the player, with the other Wild Deuce single I am auctioning in the next auction. No reserve, good luck!
