Description

 

I specialize in lost, atmospheric, and hypnotic 45s. Grading is done conservatively, visually. Check unaltered sound clips. I currently have a number of cool soul, popcorn, Latin, rockabilly, garage, R&B, country, surf, blues, funk, psychedelic, sunshine pop, mod, lounge, exotica, heavy rock, gospel, swamp pop, Tejano, townie rock, song poem, punk, and oddball instrumental 45 obscurities up for grabs. In addition to a small batch of Greek 45s, I've also listed some really fantastic and scarce garage band 45s from Texas this week.

CONDITION: Strong VG (Excellent player, great lustre, keeper copy with faint scratches and a bit of light scuffing.)

Deep Cajun Louisiana accordian drone, circa '61. Heavy blues feeling and an astonishingly intense vocal turn by La La Laverne - fans of Abshire drones like "Pinegrove Blues" and "Popcorn Blues" will certainly dig this. Beautiful, mournful waltz on flipside "Dans Grand Bois" - again with an insistent instrumental hum. Tough one from Abshire's early '60s stint on Kajun Records. Extraordinary music.
