Comments: Very unusual but the record label actually describes the two songs: A-side says: ”This record spotlites Joe Haywood in a strong soulful rendition of a Touching New Song”. The B-side as follows: “Joe Haywood is in fine form on a driving up tempo search for his baby.”
In my own terms I would describe the A-side as a deep soul ballad, while the B-side is up-tempo with a Southern soul sound, the horn section sounding like a cross between STAX’s and FAME’s. Excellent!
