Up for sale is one(1) Deep Purple - 24 Carat Purple LP from 1975 on Purple Records (#5C 058 96424). This is a DUTCH IMPORT PRESSED ON PURPLE VINYL.
THIS IS A COMPILATION LP THAT FEATURES SONGS ONLY FROM THE MARK II LINE-UP.
This incredible MARK II LINE-UP features, of course,
Ritchie Blackmore on Guitar, Ian Gillan on Vocals, Roger Glover on Bass, Jon Lord on Keyboards and Ian Paice on Drums.
The vinyl is in NEAR MINT condition with minimal wear from age that may cause surface noise typical with a NEAR MINT grading. Even with a NEAR MINT grading there may be a certain amount of surface noise. More noticeable during the quiet parts.
Nice clean labels.The cover is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to soft corners / corner dings, fading, scrapes, peeling, ring wear, etc... THERE ARE NO SPLIT SEAMS. There is some minor fading at the top of the rear cover. (please see pics)
And there are finger print smudges on the front and rear covers that may come off with a cleaning, but i"m leaving them as-is. (please see pics) These smudges are typical for this cover as I have seen them present on other copies.
These flimsy European Import covers typically do not age well, but this one is in EXCELLENT shape.
The LP comes in a plain inner sleeve.
I bought this LP new at Rolling Stones Records in Chicago in the Late 1970s. It was played just a few times. It has been in storage lo these many years.
