DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple LP- The Book Of Taliesyn . In front and back laminated gatefold sleeve. EMI on labels but still a pretty early UK pressing matrices ending A1G/B1G. Correct original white inner. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 751 YEAR OF RELEASE: 70s issue of 1968 original COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/EX+. Vinyl is very clean with a dark sheen. Played lengthy passages of this today on my Pro-ject deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Clean, clear and loud. Best playing copy of this LP I have ever had. Cover is firm and square and has absolutely minimal edgewear, cornerwear and absolutely minimal creasing. No laminate lift at all. Spine is in fantastic shape. Immaculate labels. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. Cleanest looking and best sounding copy of this classic Lp that I have ever had. Great stuff!! Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading System but please note that GRADINGS ARE VISUAL ONLY UNLESS STATED. You are likely to get some background noise , even if its just between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES (INCLUDING SIGNIFICANT INNERS) PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS.
