Deep Purple "Burn" Original 1974 UK first vinyl pressing
NM disc with VG+ cover - very first A1/B1 Has original address sticker from "Peter Russell's Hot Record Store" in Plymouth, England - my favorite record shop that I would gladly drive 100 miles round trip to buy the latest releases most weeks.
Has original Porky/Pecko name etchings on dead run off vinyl. "Porky Pecko" ("Pecko Duck") refers to the signature of George "Porky" Peckham, a renowned UK mastering engineer known for cutting high quality vinyl in the 1970s . His signatures in the dead wax (runoff groove) indicate a hot, punchy, and highly sought-after, excellent-sounding pressing.
Burn is the 8th.studio album by British hard rock band Deep Purple, released on February 15, 1974. It is famous for launching the "Mark III" lineup, replacing Ian Gillan and Roger Glover with vocalist David Coverdale and bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes, introducing funk and soul influences to their classic hard rock style. Unlike most eBay UK market albums which cost $25-$50 to ship, mine ship from Texas not UK and are NOT SUBJECT TO IMPORT TARIFFS - so no nasty extra tariff invoice from the shipping company before they will deliver!

I was a club DJ during the 1970s and 1980s in the UK, and always bought the latest LPs as soon as they were released.
