Description

A 1st pressing of Fireball on the UK Harvest label. Matrix A2/B3. Etching 'PEK'. This is the very first iteration of this release with George Peckham's 'PEK' evident in the deadwax and 'Gramophone' still showing in the perimeter label text. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original textured gatefold sleeve. Also included is the original lyric sheet and the Harvest Inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In absolutely superb condition and has clearly seen the lightest use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity and minimal interference. The audio delivered from this Peckham cut is absolutely awesome. Interference is very minor and only really noticeable at all in one track 'Fools'. We're talking a bit of static - which is audible in the quieter sections of the track. Other than that this really is a superb listen.
Cover (Ex-) In great shape and has clearly been looked after down the years. Back and front are very well preserved with just some light handling and indentations in the odd place. The interior is in nice condition too. Edge wear is light with just a bit more on the spine [text still just readable]. Overall the cover still retains much of its original rigidity.
Lyric sheet (Ex-) Nice condition. Minimal fading - a coupe of marks on the rear. 
Inner (Vg+) A bit aged, but no seam splits.
