Description

An original 1st press of Machine head on UK Purple. Matrix A1U/B1U. Gramophone text. Stampers 1RH/1RG - from the 1st machine head mother in the Uk..no complaints!!. And if you're into near-master copies...this is where you need to be looking for amazing audio. Lovely heavy pressing as you find on the earliest copies. The vinyl comes housed in a TRUE 1st issue cover fully laminated. We have an original 1st issue 3 panel lyric sheet...GENUINE!!!
Vinyl (Ex+/Ex) A superb looking copy and has only seen light use. Holy cow. I've heard some great copies in my time. This copy is hands down A-Mazing. It is probably straight in at number 1. Super preservation. A couple of faintest marks per side, super light bag rash in the odd spot - NOTHING that would remotely trouble this really heavy pressing. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ of playback. If you are a fussy so and so and only want the BEST the market has to offer...might be worth considering this copy. I certainly won't be sourcing another copy like this any time soon. Super clarity and total 100% of reproduction possible...it's all there. Hear deep into the mix. Any sign of use in the quiet areas.?.barely a whisper. I certainly don't remember hearing a cleaner [consistently] copy....ever. Why not witness one of the most iconic albums ever produced in full analogue chain from a near master copy. Yes, you can find 1st pressings on Ebay with little issue...But what about a near perfect copy. Do you want to miss out on perfection..? Even into the fussy moments.. to be fair they are infrequent as everyone is mostly al up on 11. A couple of minor crackles in a couple of spots in the funky organ entry to Lazy [this still plays better than nearly every copy I've ever given a spin]. OMG you wanna hear the run into SMOKE... the cymbal strikes are just superbly preserved. Not sure I've heard it like that as this track can get murdered. It is absolutely superb from beginning to end. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) I've seen some nice covers in my time - but this example is ridiculous. You can probably see the nice sheen coming of it - that's a given. But what the photos don't really show is this example is totally flat and rigid. That opening panel is totally flat and rigid...not a single bend. I can't begin to tell you how unusual that is. Totally straight undinged edges. If this cover was any shinier you'd need shades to look at it. So, what does the interior look like...well, in a word perfect. Usually they tarnish a bit or crease. This example is TOTALY WHITE..it must have been kept in a vacuum! Minimal edge wear - 98% of copies do not manage this. The Spine is 99% intact which is highly unusual. Overall the cover still retains excellent rigidity [perfect]. true 1st issue rarely surface in this condition. I certainly have never got my hands on one.
