Up for sale is one(1) Deep Purple - Made In Japan UK Import two LP set from 1972 on Purple Records (#TPSP 351). Comes with A PHOTOCOPY of the original Hype Sticker that was affixed directly to the front cover. There is No Barcode.
Dead wax info:
Side 1: PORKY
Side 2: DELTA PORK
Side 3: PECKO
Side 4: PECKIE
These etchings in the deadwax indicate a high quality pressing by George "Porky" Peckham.
The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition with some surface marks that will cause some surface noise.
Nice fairly clean labels with a name printed on Sides 2 & 4.
The very high gloss gatefold cover is in VERY GOOD condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to a name written on the front cover, initials printed on the rear cover, corner dings, scrapes, white fade spots, a few crumples, and ring wear. Comes with A PHOTOCOPY of the original hype/price sticker that has been cut to size. There is a sticker removal spot where the original sticker was affixed.
The interior of the gatefold is in great shape but has a "This Belongs To" sticker in the lower right corner. I covered the name for the picture.
I obtained this LP in the mid 1970's. It was played many times back in the day. But has not been played in over 35 years. It has been in storage ever since. I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME!
