Description
Here is a great copy of Deep Purples' first album, called 'Shades of Deep Purple', on the yellow & black Parlophone label, PCS 7055 Stereo (1968).
Therecord grades as EX-/VG+.
The sleeve is in good general condition, with moderate ring wear on the front, with a few laminate creases on the opening edge.On this edge, the laminatehas torn a little, exposingthe underside to show through and wear away withuse. Scuffed lightly at all four corners and creases near the spine, spine being clearly legible. The back has slightly discoloured at the opening edge, due to use. The back hasno staining andjust a small name written in biro on the reverse too.
The vinyl itself has many surface marks and a few minor scratches. None of which affect play badly. Just the odd click here and there, but nothing too detrimental. Track 1 Side Two has, at some stage had paint or similar spilt upon it but has been cleaned off, but evidence still remains, but does not affect play.
To summarise, a very collectable rare record, not in the peak of condition, but suitable until a better one can be found.
