Description
Here is an utterly superb first pressing of Deep Purple's debut album from 1968. It is the actual record that's the prize here, folks! It is in a truly fantastic condition, with no scratches, no skips, jumps or warps. The labels are almost factory fresh. It has all the correct hallmarks on the disc. The original Stereo catalogue no. PCS 7055. The YEX.689/90 code under the 33/& a third r.p.m . Also has the "A Derek Lawrence Production" stamp. It is the first pressing Silver & Black "EMI" logo. The only very, very, slight downside is that there is (very) slight crackle in between a few tracks- you can't hear this at all when the disc is playing. I played it before I listed, and it sounds fantastic! I will grade the vinyl - conservatively as a 8.5/10! The sleeve is only in VG condition, and has many creases, although is in a better state than many you often see going for silly money! The original inner sleeve is also included, again only in VG. Think of the sleeve as a bonus that comes with this fantastic vinyl copy. A much sought after copy, this would be a great upgrade! Happy bidding!
