DESCRIPTION: Deep Purple- The Book Of Taliesyn. 1970 UK pressing with laminated gatefold sleeve, Harvest advertising inner and A1G/B1G matrix. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double LP. Postage cost includes tracking, insurance and a box or cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 751: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1970: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX+/VG+. Vinyl is very clean with a nice dark sheen. It has a very faint hint of misting on one side that has no effect on playback. Looks very lightly played. Played all of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent and better. Plays clean, clear and loud. Gate fold cover is a lot better than average, decent VG+ and not too far off Excellent. It is firm and near square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear and only light creasing. The inside of the gate fold is really, really clean. Inner sleeve is in fantastic condition. It retains great shape, is clean and white, firm and square with minimal wear and no splits. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, sticker tears or stickers. Complete early UK pressing, sounds and looks great. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER DEEP PURPLE /HARD ROCK/PROG/METAL LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
