Rare UK 180gram Reissue LP released in 1997 on EMI Records. Cat: 8214531. Released as part of the celebration for EMI's 100th anniversary. Beautiful 180gram virgin vinyl pressing cut from the original analogue tapes.Comes with heavy binyl sleeve and even has original 60's Parlophone replica labels.
Debut album (1968) by the Purps first line-up with Rod Evans on vocals. Very different to anything else that they ever recorded the album is firmly planted in the late '60's heavy rock/psych camp and owes a debt to US bands such as Vanilla Fudge and Iron Butterfly. Groovy guitar and keyboard flourishes and powerful harmony vocals are epitomised by the hit single "Hush".
