Description

Released in 1973 on their own "Purple" label (TPSA 7508) 'Who Do We Think We Are!' was the last album to be recorded by the "Mark II" lineup. At this point, after the unexpected and phenomenal  success of 'Made In Japan' from the previous year; and their non-stop touring and recording schedule, the band was essentially "burnt-out".  However, though some of the songs on WDWTWA  may sound rather "forced" or unfinished, the band still kicked ass with 'Woman From Tokyo' (a top ten hit) and 'Rat Bat Blue', a superb song with an unforgettable riff. 

The copy I am offering is a TRUE 1st UK pressing from 1973 with 1U/1U matrix endings and comes with the rare purple lyric-insert. It sounds sensational.

Condition of Laminated Gatefold Sleeve: Near Mint.....In beautiful shape...hardly a blemish to be seen. Even the delicate thin spine is near perfect. Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse, the sleeve still "creaks" when opened slowly.

Condition of Lyric Insert: Excellent+

Condition of Record: Near Mint(-) .....only some faint hairlines and marks are visible under strong light. These have little bearing on the amazing audio. The vinyl has decent weight; probably between 125g and 135g.
