Deep Purple vs Jimi Hendrix, Battle of Deep Purple and Jimi Hendrix, Original, Japanese release, Metal tin packaging, MP 9369/70.
Tin Can: VGOOD. Light rub wear front/back/edges. A couple of small dents.
Some staining on the bottom. Used, but not abused.
Original foam padding sheets. GOOD. Some staining. One has two holes (see pics.).
Obi: The red, rectangular ticket acts as the 'obi' for this release. Usually missing. VGOOD++-EX.
Light rub wear front/back/edges.
Insert: Main insert is a 12 page booklet. FAIR-GOOD. Creasing.
The front and back sheets have come away from the rest of the pages, but all there. (see pics.).
The sheet with the mandrill on one side is an advertisement for the band, 'Mandrill'.
Vinyl: Visually, GOOD+-VGOOD. Light scuffs/scratches. Nothing too savage. A little surface noise,
mainly at the beginning/ending of each side and between tracks. Definitely no skips.
Returning to eBay after a long break. I lived in Japan from 1999 to 2013 and put together a large collection of mostly, Japanese pressed vinyl records.
Now in the process of downsizing. Almost everything is the best copy I came across in my time in Japan.
Grading: I view all items under strong fluorescent light. Many of the, ‘light scuffs/scratches’ I mention may not be visible in other light. My grading of, ‘At least EX’ would be the equivalent of NM to other sellers.
