Description

Up for bid is a rare LP, "Oh What A Nite," by The Dells. See pictures for song list. This is a mono press, released by Vee Jay (VJLP 1010) in 1961. This is an original 2nd press, with a black label and the oval Vee Jay logo on the interior labels. I have only found one reference on the internet to another LP like this, and they are asking $300! Etched matrix info reads LP-1268 / LP-1269. LP is a solid VG+, with a couple of tiny faint scuffs on either side. LP plays with minimal surface noise (some crackle and a few tics), but with no skips. LP is extremely clean and retains a nice gloss. Jacket is VG+, with no seam splits. There is light wear on all 4 corners. There is light  ring wear on the front of the jacket. There is a small crease in the front lower right corner. There is wear along the mouth of the jacket. Along the spine from top to bottom, it reads "LP 1010 Oh, What A Night - - The Dells."Jacket is very clean, and the front retains a nice gloss with bright coloring.  See pictures of jacket to verify the description. This is a very nice copy of this hard to find LP - don't miss your chance to pick up this rare gem! LP will be securely packed in an LP mailer with inserts for safe delivery.
