Description

Super condition and ultra-rare copy of this original 1986 debut UK vinyl release from the magnificent Welsh psychobilly outfit, Demented Are Go. Released in the UK on ID Records in 1986, this version was the only copy available for 14 years before German Re-issues on Knock Out Records started to appear, followed by a smattering of CD issues from the UK and Europe.
The only other UK vinyl copy, to my knowledge, is a re-issued picture disc from 2007.

Vinyl: Ex - Super clean copy, some light superficial hairline surface marks but still retains a glorious lustre and sheen. Play-tested and reproduction is fantastic. Comes with pink & white coloured labels with black ID logo and label-text. The labels are clean and free from scuffs, stains and blemishes with virtually no discernible spindle-wear. Run out grooves contain the amusing lost-virginity messages, featuring a rubber giraffe and a vacuum cleaner!
Sleeve: VG+ The sleeve shows some signs of handling and wear, but is essentially in great shape for its age. Gloss-finished card sleeve with a black & white wedding photo design on the front cover, portrait photos and track-listing & credits on rear sleeve. It comes complete with glossy photo-montage inner bag. Structurally, the main sleeve is completely intact with no tears or major damage. There's some light corner creasing and an inch-long bit of edge-wear at the centre of the top edge. The spine is solid and the seams are all securely stuck down. The inner bag is in great un-damaged shape.
A super quality item from a fantastic psychobilly band who should really have received more recognition. Knocks spots off their contemporaries. I guess commercial recognition may have had something to do with their slightly subversive lyrics & titles, but anyone who can "billy" up the Osmonds' Crazy Horses deserves credit in my book.
This is a scarce and sought after album, recognised by Discogs and Record Collector RRPG.
