Title: Demon Fuzz – Afreaka! – Janus JLS-3028 1970

Summary:  You arebidding on a very rare white label promo copy of Demon Fuzz’s Afreaka! From1970.  Demon Fuzz were an all black groupform the UK with a sound that perhaps would be best described as psychedelicafro-rock.  While I don’t know anyparticular samples from this record, there are quite a few moments (especiallyon their cover of the Electric Flag’s “Another Country”) that could be sampledeasily.

Condition:  I wouldconservatively grade the record itself as VG, potentially borderline VG+. Thereare also some small marks at the start of “Mercy” on Side 2, as well as asmudge that appears to have been from an attempt to clean the marks, thesecause some clicks on playback, though they are on beat and disappear into themix.   There is also a fair amount ofclicks during the first minutes of both sides, related to some small marks onthe vinyl.  There is light surface noisethereafter throughout the album, but very few pops or clicks on other tracks.  (audible on the samples).   The white labels are in VG++ condition withonly some slight browning.  I would gradethe jacket as VG, mostly due to heavy ring wear on the front and back cover aswell as general wear to different spots on the front and back.  There is also a 1 ¾ inch seam split in thetop center of the jacket.  The top leftcorner has been frayed and there is slight fraying on the other edges of theLP.
