Hello and welcome to our auction ! This is for Dennis Wilson's 1977 album "Pacific Ocean Blue" released on Caribou Records, a subsidiary of Columbia Records. Catalogue number is PZ 34354. This is no ordinary issue, this is a promotional copy featuring a white label, a test strip and a gold promo stamp. Record is VG/VG+ with very light surface wear. It does not look like it was played too much. To see any of the surface wear, you would have to hold it under bright light and even then it is not bad at all. The label is in really good shape and does not contain any visible spindle marks. Seriously, it looks like it was only played once or twice and then shelved. Overall, a very nice copy. We played this with a Sumiko Pearl cartridge and routed the audio throun an Adcom two-channel amplifier. We could hardly hear any surface noise. It sounds really nice. Cover is VG-/VG with light to moderate wear in a few places but not bad at all. Does contain some light ring wear. Contains a few light corner dents but not bad. This cover is a gatefold. The inner portion of the gatefold is in nice shape. There is no major visible wear. The spine is in decent shape; a little bit of it has worn off but it is not bad. The spine is definitely still readable when on a shelf. Contains the white test strip on the front of the cover and there are no call letters or any writing on it. It is near pristine. The cover is still glossy. On the back, there is a gold stamp on the cover. Also comes with original inner printed sleeve which is in nice shape. No writing, no seam splits and no major cover damage at work here.
