– Condition: VINYL:

– visually: The LP is slightly dished, but this has absolutely NO effect on playback. 

When the record is carefully inspected under bright light, some ultra-fine sleeve-removal-type scuffs can be seen, but both sides look very clean. There are NO feelable scratches. 

Whilst the record is USED, it also appears to be in very collectible condition.

– Audio:

– The sound is a bit rough, as can be expected, but it's still a thrill to hear this time-capsule

of raw and surging futuristic pop, and to hear the early versions of songs that eventually

wound up on Speak & Spell. The set includes some unreleased tracks, including such gems

as the catchy Television Set and the melancholic Reason Man.

– As is the case with virtually any USED record, there is some brief surface noise at the start

of play on both sides. Also, there are instances of minimal surface noise ('static') that I 

picked up here and there, but the record plays well with the music to the forefront.

– One 'pop' on Big Muff and some 'pops' on Ice Machine. 

A brief click at the start of New Life.

– A little 'static' and audible crackle on Television Set, but it is still an extremely enjoyable listen.

One 'pop' at the VERY start of Tomorrow's Dance. 

A brief click on Reason Man.

– Overall play-grade for both sides (strictly graded) = 

VG++ with minor flaws as detailed above. The LP is still a solid listen despite its imperfections. 

Also, although it isn't flawless, I've not heard a better copy of the original red vinyl release 

of Bridgehouse. There are NO 'sticks', 'skips' or 'jumps' and the record plays right through 

on both sides.

– The cover is in NM (nearly pristine) condition. When viewed carefully under bright light 

some light markings and slight ring wear can be seen (if one is looking for such things), 

but the general impression is still very favourable.

– NO seam splits, edge wear, corner wear. There is an extremely small dent to the top right-hand corner. The lettering on the spine is perfectly legible. NO tears, stickers, writing, 

and the opening is perfect. The cover still has plenty of shine, and the images (front and back)

still look good.
