If you are well into your -quality audio- you'd probably want to take a close look at this one>>>
An original 1st press of Layla on UK Polydor. Matrix A1/B2 x2 - the 1st cut. The earliest copies are pressed heavier and the labels are flat not ridged. Super chunky - real feel of being substantial. The vinyl comes housed in the original matt gatefold cover with the Hype sticker removed bottom right corner! Two original inners. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are really quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A great copy by any measure - the delivery is clean. This allows you to sit back and marvel at this classic 70's title. Minimal signs of background. There are some incredibly lowkey slow roll-ins on these tracks. Like on Thorn Tree and I think most copies will slip up even after light to moderate use. You can hear well down into the mix. When you get to those super fussy tracks like I'm Yours'.....it plays great. Very little sign of background. But these super fussy tracks are playing really well for the vintage.
Cover (Vg+) In great condition and has survived the years in much better condition than many examples. That front is in nice order - but for the fact that someone has removed the Layla hype sticker and it is a bit grubby in a couple of spots as a result. Rear looks good with some handing - as is typical. Some light edge wear in a couple of spots and the spine 80% intact. Interior spot on. Very tidy example.
Inner (Vg+) No splits. Really tidy. Ageing creeping in at extremities...
