Description

An original 1st issue of LAYLA on UK Polydor labels. Matrix A1/B2/A1/B2 - 1st cut. From the chart run. The vinyl comes housed in an original gatefold cover printed by Shorewood. No stickers or company logo to spoil the aesthetic. We have both original generic white inners from the time. So, we're100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Ex) A beautiful copy and has only seen very light use. A couple of slight marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT level of playback. Really quiet intros and inbetweens and the audio comes across with superb clarity. Lovely clan signalled player, Literally plays clean as a whistle from start to finish. Clean into even the lowest key sections...like Thorn Tree and I am Yours. If these two play clean...you are basically onto a winner..Many copies will not manage that. ...A cracker of a copy! please note one of the labels in particular has sticker removal damage - I have done my best to tidy up.
Cover (Ex-) Front and rear are very tidy with just very slightest surface wear - small signature top right corner. The interior looks spot on - no issues. Very slight edge wear and sharp firm openings. The spine is spot on with slightest wear and fully intact. Retains excellent rigidity and is a very fine original example.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag presents. No splits.
