Derek And The Dominos  "Layla"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Atco SD 2-704  from 1970.    This is a Stereo white label promo.    It's a double album in a gatefold cover.  It's one of the greatest rock and roll albums of all time.    All the songs are blues rock masterpieces about love.   The band is Eric Clapton, Bobby Whitlock, Jim Gordon, Carl Radle and Duane Allman.     This album reached #16 on Billboard on 11/28/70.    The single 'Layla' reached # 10 on 6/17/72.

The songs are : I Looked Away, Bell Bottom Blues, Keep On Growing, Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out, I Am Yours, Anyday, Key To The Highway, Tell The Truth, Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad ?, Have You Ever Loved A Woman, Little Wing, It's Too Late, Layla, and Thorn Tree In The Garden.

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG+ /  Record are VG+ & VG+

The cover is VG+ no writing and no seam splits.   There is light partial ring wear and the back cover shows more overall wear.    There are no promo markings on the cover.    The vinyls look VG+ and they play VG+.     There are light handling marks.     On side three there is a tiny mark that makes light pops at the end of song one.    On side four there is a scuff at the end of song three that can be seen but not be heard.    The labels are clean with light spindle marks.  The records come in  Atlantic inner sleeves.

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.  

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides. 

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 14 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 30 ounces ( 1 pound, 14 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.     I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.
