Description

Recorded during George Harrison’s All things Must Pass sessions this promo single was pulled back by Eric Clapton stating he felt the sound was different than what he intended The Dominos to ultimately sound like.


Tell the truth was re-recorded for the album making this promo mix 100% an alternate release with this exclusive track found only on this promo. Considering they only released one double LP it has become a treasured part of the band’s official discography.

The flip side “Roll It Over” didn’t appear on the album and was only ever preformed live also making it an exclusive track to this promo single.

The condition of this recalled 45 is solid VG++. The only thing keeping it from NM is a mild scuff mark that doesn’t affect the playback in the least.

A real hidden gem of a promo that completes the Derek and the Dominos studio releases.
