Description
Derek & The Dominos classic Layla album on Polydor Records UK authentic first pressing released in 1970….Extremely rare album from this short lived band. Most people just know Layla and Bell Bottom Blues from this album and they are great songs, but this album is filled with GEMS like Anyday, Keep On Growing,Why Does Love Got To Be So Bad,Tell The Truth and a mesmerizing version of Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing….You won't hear this album any better than this record,it's the way it was meant to be heard!
I saw this band in October of 1970 at the Fillmore East on their one and only tour, they were better live than they were on record and Clapton was on fire that night,it's really a shame that this band couldn't last….They were that good.
Side one: A/1 Side two: B/2 Side three: A/1 Side four: B/2
Derek & The Dominos Layla green lettering on the cover.
The records grade Near Mint and it'd be very hard to find this two record set in better condition than this one.
This MacNell Press gatefold record cover grades Excellent, a very nice copy (see scans).
I've been collecting records for over 52 years now and this album is from my personal collection.
