Derek And The Dominos  "Layla" 

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Atco 2-704 from 1970.     This is a stereo white label promo.      These were only pressed in very limited numbers when this album was first issued.      This is one of the greatest rock 'n' roll electric blues albums ever recorded.      Every song is about lost love and there is no filler.    Eric Clapton is joined by Duane Allman, Jim Gordon, Bobby Whitlock, and Carl Radle.   

Overall Condition is : Cover is VG /  Record is VG+

The gatefold cover is VG with no writing and no seam splits.   There is ring wear and seam wear.    There are two stickers on the front cover.    One says "2 LP set, Layla , Derek And The Dominos" and lists their names.    The other is a round promo sticker that has a small tear on the top edge.     The side one vinyl looks VG+ and it plays VG+ with pops at the end of "Bell Bottom Blues" and into the beginning of "Keep On Growing" from a tiny scratch.      The side two vinyl looks near mint and plays near mint.     The side three vinyl looks VG+ and plays near mint, with a couple light scuffs.      The side four vinyl looks VG+ and plays near mint.       All of the labels are clean with light spindle marks.  The records come in plain white inner sleeves. 

The songs are : I Looked Away, Bell Bottom Blues, Keep On Growing, Nobody Knows You When You're Down And Out, I Am Yours, Anyday, Key To The Highway, Tell The Truth, Why Does Love Got To Be So Sad, Have You Ever Loved A Woman, Little Wing, It's Too Late, Layla, and Thorn Tree In The Garden.

I have been buying and selling records for more than 25 years.  I sell records at all Northwest record conventions and at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.

I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.    One sheet is 3/4 inch thick triple strength industrial cardboard.   The other sheet is 1/4 inch double strength cardboard.   Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )  It will weigh 29 ounces ( 1 pound, 13 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal with a tracking number.      Overseas buyers must use First Class Mail International.   I will let you know the date I mailed your record and the US customs number.   ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )     I will remove the record from the cover and place them in a plastic bag.   I will send it as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM.)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.   There are no handling charges.    This record is from a no smoking and no pets home.
