Description

Derek and The Dominos / Tell The Truth / Phil Spector produced with George Harrison playing guitar / Mega rare quickly withdrawn 45 / VG+++

Songs: Tell The Truth & Roll It Over - Both sides Produced by Phil Spector

Mega rare, Eric Clapton's first single with Derek and The Dominos - issued September, 14, 1970. These two songs were recorded in England, at Apple Studio with George Harrison playing guitar.

Eric Clapton was displeased with the production (it was mixed too fast, and the feeling of the lyrics were lost). He had the 45 withdrawn as quickly as it was released. This commercial yellow/white label pressing is even rarer than the few white label promos issued.

The songs were later re-recorded in Florida for the Layla album, at a slower pace with Duane Allman on guitar.

This vinyl 45 is in VG+++ condition, great clean sound and super glossy. It's graded VG+++ because it has very slight storage warping, does not affect sound quality. Otherwise, it would grade higher, see photos.

Commercial copies are super hard to find in any condition.

All items guaranteed.

Free, quick shipping, no handling fees.
