Yes, this is the impossibly rare original pink Island issue, runout grooves matrix: ILP+955+A / ILP+955+B.  That is the good news, unfortunately, and it is a BIG unfortunately, the cover has damage, and the vinyl is basically unplayable.  Please read the grading below very carefully before bidding.  I am only offering it here as maybe someone can use it for framing/display purposes?  I have done full sound files of both sides below so you can hear what your dealing with.  These were recorded on an ION USB turntable, of course it is possible with a better player and heavier needle that the sound/jumps/skips might improve.  Bear in mind though I had to literally take the needle off and back on to avoid a few sticks.

I would not usually list a record in this condition, but due to its rarity thought it might be of use to someone.  Please read all the info fully and properly before bidding, as I will not accept returns on this item as it has been thoroughly described.

Vinyl Looks

The cover:  On the front there is a stain top left corner and a small tear bottom left.  The back cover is complete except for a few minor small stains.

The top and bottom seams are intact.  The back seam does however have a large split. 

The vinyl:  There are a lot of marks, lines and plain old scratches. 

The majority of both sides play through with background, BUT there are quite a few needle jumps and clicks, and two or three places where the needle actually sticks in the groove/scratch.  I had to physically remove the needle and carry on a few seconds later on the sound files below.

Please listen to full sound file of first side below. What you hear is what you get (any distortion is likely from digital recording, please advise me of this and I will re-record it).

I record all sound files direct from the record offered in this auction on an Ion USB turntable at a 128 bit rate with no sound manipulation. I have not always got the time to listen right through each track, if there are any jumps, skips, pops and crackles you will hear them and can bid accordingly. For this reason I do not accept returns on the basis of record condition. Please listen to them before bidding!
