Description
What a great record. It pains me to sell it. As you may know if you're looking at this auction, this LP, released in 2001 in an extremely short run by Misra (some say as small as 200, but it was probably somewhere between 300-500), is the choicest of all Destroyer items, for it is not only Bejar's finest record, but it is also the most scarce. I've only seen this up for auction here once in the six years I've been on eBay.
This has been my personal copy since its release, and to be honest, it is not in perfect shape. The sleeve has a little wear on the bottom right corner, there is some light ring wear and a very tiny half-inch bend in the lower left corner. It has been kept in a plastic sleeve for years, so there is no major shelf wear and there's quite a bit of gloss to it, but what can I say, I played it a lot back in those days and never thought I'd be selling it online six years later. The heavy black vinyl LP is in great shape, still not perfect. There are no scratches or major pops at all (just played it one last time, sounded awesome) but there is some overall wear on it from play and storage. I grade the sleeve and record both EX+. Check my feedback and see how pleased everyone is with my grading. What a nice package, too, with the album and label design (I included a pic of the label just to show how sweet it is). No reserve! Low starting bid! Good luck, and feel free to email me with any questions.
GRADING SCALE:
M, NM, EX, VG
Mint (M): Absolutely perfect in every way - never played or still sealed.
Near Mint (NM): The record shows no obvious sign of wear.
Cover has no creases, folds, seam splits or any other noticeable similar defect. No cut-out holes. The same is true of any other inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves.
Excellent (EX): Condition for vinyl will allow minor scuffs which are visible but only slightly. None of the visible scuffs are audible and only effect the visual condition of the item slightly. Very close to being a near mint item.
Very Good (VG): Surface noise is evident upon playing, especially in soft passages and during the song's intro and fade, but will not overpower the music otherwise. Groove wear may be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. Labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers (or their residue) attached.Covers may have some seam splitting or some ring wear, where the ink has begun to wear off. However, it will not have all of these problems at the same time, only two or three of them.
