Description
Football Blues b/w same (instro) by Ed Cooper and the Maullted Sound on Maullted 102269. Demoristic Publishing, which was the legendary Dave Hamilton's outfit. How rare is this? I've been collecting Detroit records for 30 years and have never seen or heard of another copy. No one I've asked in the collecting game has seen or heard of it. Ady Croasdell, who consults for Ace/Kent, which owns the rights to all Demoristic material had never heard of it! Presumably this is the same Ed Cooper who's famous for his single on Nimrod. This is a slow groove thing with the drums way up front. The record has full shine and looks like it's seen very little play, but it has numerous light scratches--nothing deep or troublesome--that put it into weak VG territory. Check the audio clip below.

GRADING
M- A flawless or nearly flawless record that appears to have seen little or no play.
VG+ Full gloss, a few light marks. A very, very attractive record that has seen limited play and has been well cared for.
VG More marks and scratches, but still a nice record. Scratches may be fairly numerous, but will be light.
VG- Lots of marks and scratches but no gouges or major problems. Not a beautiful record, but still serviceable, not junk.
G+ and G Heavy wear and marks, plays through okay.
