"Hastings St. Jazz Experience" Lp by the Detroit Jazz Composers Ltd. (Midnite Records MR 1976) Rare original private press of this 70's Detroit Lp, featuring Tribe Records' Phil Ranelin (Vibes From The Tribe, etc.), Motowns' Kim Weston (Thrill A Moment, Helpless, etc.), Charles Brown, Louis Barnett, Miller Brisker (Midnite Records/Naked), Theodore Buckner, Teddy Harris jr., Samuel Spraggins, Ed Gooch (Tribe), Vaughan Klugh, Herbie Williams (of Funky From the Get Go on El Toro fame), and more. Cover is in VG condition, still in original cellophane, some light water damage to the right side. A 6 or 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. Vinyl is VG+, looks good and plays flawlessly, with light and superficial marks only. A 7 or 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. Not the most perfect copy ever, but certainly not too shabby either.
