DGG - SLPEM 136032 - BIZET - CARMEN - FRICSAY
One of many quality ORIGINAL classical recordings NEARLY ALL FIRST PRESSINGS I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. Hence in this collection the vinyl is nearly all unmarked and just like new. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is SLPEM 136032 Red Stereo logo to the front cover , (1959) date 9/59 on rear cover, blue tulip label, made in Germany stamped to the dead wax along with A & B matrix. The labels are in beautiful condition. Outer sleeve is good with light age related wear to corners / edges but no rips or tears. The Vinyl is super condition (there is just one very small non-feelable mark on side one) and looks to have had just the one or two plays MAXIMUM.
