Description

This is an extremely rare promotion set that this seller has never seen in any retail establishment or Internet post in 53 years!
DG, once the master of Classical recordings, put together six mini-discs featuring their artists (see below) and shipped them out to radio stations. When you put the six discs together (each approximately 6" by 6"), there was a picture of a beautiful model (18" by 18").
The music selections are excerpts from (much more information is on the discs and dust covers): Disc 1-Tchaikovsky-Serenade in C and Waltz from "The Sleeping Beauty"
Disc 2-Praetorius-Dances From "Terpsichore" and "Volte With Vivace"
Disc 3-Mozart-The "Elvira Madigan" and Smetana (Czech music)
Disc 4-Bach-Suite #2 and Handel-Water Music
Disc 5-Beethoven-from The Pastorale Symphony and Brahms-Symphony #3
Disc 6-Johann Strauss-the Fledermaus Overture!

The records have not been played in 53 years.
I have saved this because it is unique.  But it is time to let it go.
