ORIGINAL 1967 *PRIVATE PRESSING* LP

This legendary LP from the heart of 1967 Underground London was available via Mail Order only through 'International Times' magazine.

The amazing fold out sleeve features notes by John Peel.

This extremely rare 1967 UK private pressing is on the orange Underground Impresarios 'face' label: IMP 1

Housed in the magnificent multi-coloured, fold-out poster cover, complete with its original lined inner sleeve.

Matrix numbers: IMPS 001 A-1 A & IMPS 001 B-1

CONDITION


Cover: EXCELLENT

A wonderful vibrant and unfaded example which has been rarely opened.
Its only faults is a small (2cm) tear to the upper edge and some light shelfwear to the lower edge and corner, otherwise it is in remarkable condition.
Opening up the cover fully, there is no discolouration, tears or wear to the folds and no writing, marks or missing paper anywhere.
Tough to find a better example.

Visual: VERY GOOD PLUS

Not often played, the surfaces are overall bright, clean & glossy.
Both sides bear the occaisional thin scratch and some sleeve removal hairlines visible only directly under a halogen desk lamp.
Thick, sharp-edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on both sides with no dishing or warping.

Audio: VERY GOOD PLUS

Clear high quality sound with just a touch of minor background between tracks & during quiet passages but no groovewear distortion on any track.
There are three single groove jumps on track 1, side 1 and some occaisional clicks. However side 2 plays without fault.
An amazing listen.
