Description

This is the VINYL version of Devin Townsend's Casualties of Cool album, if you're reading this you probably already know all about it. It was available as a limited item through PledgeMusic to fund this album as well as the Ziltoid 2 project, and it is signed by Devin as well as by Ché Aimee Dorval.

Please examine all of the photos to get the best impression of the condition of the album. I am the original owner and I have played this album once. There is a slightly compressed corner (arrived that way), and a split in the bottom of one of the innersleeves that is a little over an inch long (it was there when I first removed it from the jacket), both are pictured in the photos. I have kept the vinyls in poly-lined sleeves since the day I received it, which will be included for free with this album.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:
Aside from the slight corner compression and the split at the bottom center of one of the innersleeves, there is a large scuff across the grooves on Side 2 that was created when I slipped with my record cleaning brush (yeah, one of my finest moments...). This scuff is illustrated clearly in the photo. The scuff absolutely does not affect the sound at all, I cannot hear it when the needle passes through the scuff at any point. I re-listened to the entire side all the way through to make sure, so this is a purely cosmetic defect. The other three sides are perfect.
If you are buying this to actually listen to, you have nothing to worry about, it is only the Goldmine collector-types who are looking to make an investment and OCD perfectionists who should probably move along... however, because of this one cosmetic defect, I am setting the opening bid for this item for actually less than I originally paid for it, and I will let the "free market" decide how much it is worth. So, if you are a fan of Devin and missed out on the pledge to get this on vinyl or couldn't afford it at the time, here's a second chance. Good luck!
