Description

Now almost deaf, dedicated jazz fan/audiophile offers from my record library of some 1000 items, Dexter Gordon ‘GETTIN' AROUND’ BST 84204 Bobby Hutcherson & others. Minimal jacket shelf wear/discolored(?), sleeve tight/discolored. Vinyl LP in excellent condition, from new affectionately cared for, always stored vertically inside my smoke free homes, and carefully handled, thumb to edge, fingers on label. Records have not been played in years, then sparingly on quality turntables with tone arms and cartridges. Release Date: 1967

An important influence on John Coltrane. The boppers couldn’t play ballads?? A memorable night at the Lighthouse: Dex in a nicotine inflected baritone, the lyrics first, then 'You’ve Changed’. Was there ever anyone more cool?
