Description
In 1980 Diamond Head recorded their debut album Lightning to the Nations, over a seven day period at The Old Smithy Studio in Worcester.
The album came in a plain sleeve with no title. There were originally only 1000 copies pressed of the album, which were only available at their concerts or through mail-order at cost of £3.50. In fact the only mail-order advertisement appeared in ‘Sounds magazine’ and ran for four weeks. Later there was a second pressing of 1000, this time including the track-listings on the record.
The album catapulted Diamond Head to the forefront of the NWOBHM scene and was a big influence to many later metal bands, including Metallica and Megadeth.
The album has since become one of the most sought after record collector items from the time.

The condition is as close to perfect as you can get...The inner sleeve is a plain generic plastic type with 4 steps how to "Care Of Your Record." and the record has never been out of the inner sleeve. Not once.
Tracklisting is included on the vinyl (as shown in the pictures below).
The sleeve is a standard plain white cardboard one with no printed markings (or signatures) whatsoever.
